4th Annual Delano Hislop Memorial

3 Day Journey for Life Run/Walk

The Prostate And Colon Cancer Event is being organised in memory of Lion Delano Hislop who served as the Club’s President in 1983/1984. Lion Delano lost his battle with Colon Cancer in January of 2011. The 2nd annual Delano Hislop Memorial 3 Day Journey for Life takes place over three days commencing on Saturday July 4th and ending on public holiday Monday July 6th.

This event offers a wide range of sponsorship opportunities, and the funds raised will again be shared with the Cayman Islands Cancer Society (50%) and HospiceCare (25%).  The remaining funds will go towards the Lions Club sustained awareness program year round.

The event will start and end at the Lions Community Centre on Days 1&2 and SMB Public Beach on Day 3.

Start Time: 4:30am each day

Distance: Approximately 15 miles each day
