Come out and listen to Dr Lisa Kay Jacobs at 7pm @ Lions Community Center as she gives the latest updates on surgical techniques to maintain the shape of the breast and reconstruction after mastectomy. She will also discuss treatment methods to improve the chances for breast conservation with breast cancer.
Dr. Jacobs specializes in melanoma and breast cancer. Her initial practice was at the University of Missouri at the Ellis Fischel State Cancer Center, which is the designated cancer center for the state. Since joining Johns Hopkins in 2004, she has taken a leadership role regarding clinical research trials for the surgical division of the Johns Hopkins Breast Center.
