You CAN Make a Difference

In loving memory of Ms. Eve Flowers, we are continuing to raise funds to increase the bone marrow donor registry for donors of Afro-Caribbean descent. Most often, bone marrow transplant patients need a donor who is of the same ethnic or racial background. But, people of colour are drastically underrepresented in the bone marrow registry.

It costs $75 to get someone on the donor registry (including the kit, the testing and registration). All funds we raise will allow us to add more donors.  Our message is simple:

To become a donor, all it takes is a simple swab of the inside of your cheek to be added to the donor registry. Then someday, YOU could be called to save someone’s life. Swab a Cheek, Save a Life.
