Board certified in dermatology and cutaneous surgery and specializing in acne treatment, Miami dermatologist Dr. Arthur Colsky earned his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Miami School of Medicine where he continues to serve on the clinical teaching faculty.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University where he also began his research interest in immunology. He continued his scientific studies at the University of Miami where he published numerous scientific articles and was the recipient of awards and distinctions for his research.
While in medical school, Dr. Colsky was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society in recognition of his high academic performance. Following his internship in internal medicine, Dr. Colsky completed his residency training in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Colsky is an active member of the Acne and Rosacea Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and founder and medical director of the Advanced Acne Institute in Miami, Florida. At the Institute, Dr. Colsky practices as an acne dermatologist specializing in the management of all forms of acne, including hormonal acne treatment, facial acne treatment, treatment for cystic acne, back acne treatment and treatment of acne scars.
